FIELD VISIT: ASEAN + ROK Conference on Care and Support for Older Persons

A total of 42 participants from the ASEAN + Republic of Korea Conference on Care and Support for Older Persons participated in a field visit to Rumah Seri Kenangan Cheras and Woodrose Senior Residence Shah Alam.
The purpose of this field visit was to showcase the long-term care facilities provided by both government and private sector for older persons in Malaysia.
Also present during the visit were Mr. Kwak Sunheon, Director-General for Bureau of Health Policy, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Republic of Korea, and Dr. Satish Ranggayah, Undersecretary, International Relations Division, Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, Malaysia.
